Howl's Moving Castle


This movie is about a young woman named Sophie who is cursed by a witch so that her body is a ninety-year-old woman's. After running away from her mother's house to avoid being seen by her family, Sophie sets out to catch the mobile residence of the wizard Howl. She then names herself as castle-cleaner in the hope of finding a way to break the curse, with or without Howl's help.

Princess Mononoke


On a journey to find the cure for a Tatarigami's curse, a boy named Ashitaka finds himself in the middle of a war between the forest gods and Tatara, a mining colony. In this quest he also meets a girl named Princess Mononoke who has wolves as her companions.


Fun fact about the movie: "Mononoke" is not a name, but a general term in 
Japanese for a spirit or monster.

Warrior and Princess Nausicaa struggles to prevent two warring nations from destroying themselves in their dying planet.
